Research and Development Advisor

Louise (Lou) brings her visionary skills to Crisis Shield, advising on ethics, strategy and future projection of the company. With a background in history, political science, social work and education, she helps formulate a natural pathway for the business to evolve and develop in the current global landscape. As Research and Development Advisor, her role is to identify industry trends and advise on how best to adapt the business to help businesses in crisis situations.

 

An experienced yoga and meditation teacher, Lou also brings the element of human wellbeing to Crisis Shield, delivering mindfulness training to maximise resilience in challenging situations.

 

Lou has previously worked as a High School teacher, in the travel industry, across many aspects of hospitality and most recently as a co-facilitator for a yoga teacher-training program in Thailand, where she trained teachers from all over the world in the healing art of yoga and meditation. She is currently part-time at Crisis Shield and part-time running her own yoga business across Melbourne studios.

 

She holds a BA (political science/history) from the University of WA and a Graduate Diploma in High School Education also from UWA.
