We live and breathe crisis management and crisis communications; this is our niche.
All of the services we offer bring the benefit of our combined 25 years' experience in crisis management and communications; responding to events including gangland shootings, natural disasters, transports accidents, public protests, and regulatory investigations, working with multiple stakeholders in these situations, and managing intense – often aggressive – media scrutiny. From this experience, and our crisis management engagements, we maintain a strong network of relevant stakeholder relationships in government, emergency services, and private organisations.
We deliver our services according to our ‘Crisis Ready’ methodology. We developed this based on contemporary crisis and emergency management standards, best-practice principles and practical experience in crisis management and communications.
Our approach to exercise planning, conduct, evaluation and reporting is based on recognised standards, including:
Australian Emergency Management Handbook 3: Managing Exercises (Australian Emergency Management Institute, Attorney General’s Department, Australian Government)
Australian Standard 3745-2010 Planning for emergencies in facilities
Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (Federal Emergency Management Agency, United States Government)
British Standard 11200:2014 Crisis Management – guidance and good practice.
We are committed to quality outcomes, evidence by our journey toward ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems certification. Our consultants all have postgraduate qualifications in communications, formal training in incident management, relevant industry experience, and are ready, willing, and able to provide the services your Crisis-Ready project requires.
