Sue Keating

Senior Crisis & Emergency Management Consultant

 

Sue joined Crisis Shield in 2020, bringing extensive experience in risk assessment and decision making in swiftly changing, safety critical situations, where actions are bound by global regulations and standards.

 

Sue worked for Airservices, Australia’s air navigation service provider, for over 16 years as an Air Traffic Controller, gaining experience in capital city and regional airports across the country. Sue was responsible for training new and experienced controllers in classroom, simulator, and live traffic environments, as well as the analysis of safety incident data and development and delivery of lessons learned into training packages for internal and external parties.

 

Prior to her career in ATC, Sue was a navigational officer cadet with the Australian National Line, working at sea on bulk cargo carriers and roll on/roll off ships throughout southeast Asia.

 

Sue holds a Diploma of Aviation (Air Traffic Services), Diploma of Leadership and Management, Diploma of Quality Auditing, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) and Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety.
