In December the Crisis Shield team travelled to Chicago Illinois to work with Masters Students from the Northwestern University (NU), School of Communication. Northwestern University understands that to equip leaders they need to give them more than just a textbook understanding. The simulation exercise and seminar provided a unique opportunity to train future leaders of US organisations in preparedness for crisis situations. Participants' feedback included the value of the reality of the scenarios; how the process and well thought out steps added clarity on how to quickly respond in a crisis situation.
